We offer a comprehensive educational experience that includes technology-rich, standards-based educational opportunities provided by a highly qualified and dedicated team of teachers and support staff. Additionally, we receive significant support from our generous parents and community.
Our programs are enhanced by elementary physical education specialists, staffed libraries, elementary and middle school bands, school counselors, 1-to-1 computer device access, instructional coaches, and well-designed interventions. Many extra-curricular activities exist, including elementary and middle school sports, as well as STEM clubs and school garden programs.
Buckeye Union stretches across the communities of El Dorado Hills, Cameron Park, and Shingle Springs, which are located within commuting distance of the greater Sacramento metropolitan area. These communities are situated at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains, which provide many outstanding opportunities that support active lifestyles.
We currently serve nearly 4,300 students attending five neighborhood elementary schools, two middle schools, and a TK-8th grade District-operated Charter Montessori. Although we are growing, our schools and district retain a very personalized neighborhood feel that parents and students value greatly.
