This is a great opportunity for a retired individual, students going to college or stay at home parents - the schedule is a split shift so you can run errands or attend school during the middle of the day! Work hours are approximately 6:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. during the school year.

Position Snapshot
In the role of School Bus Driver, you are entrusted with the critical responsibility of managing daily student transportation. Your primary mission will be to provide a safe, timely, and welcoming commute, acting as the first and last school connection of the day for many children. Your dedication will foster a positive start and conclusion to each school day, contributing significantly to the students' overall learning environment.
Main Duties
- Ensure the safe and timely transportation of students along specified routes, adhering to assigned schedules
- Complies with regulations and laws set forth by the Department of Education and the California Highway Patrol relating to pupil transportation
- Assists in maintaining the bus and equipment in a clean and safe condition, including sweeping the bus daily, washing the exterior as needed and maintaining window in a clean condition at all times.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a valid California Class II driver's license (CDL) with a valid school bus driving certificate, and health examination.
- Prior experience in a school bus driver position is desirable
- Exemplary driving record and the successful completion of a background check
- Dedicated to the principles of student safety and education
